Equivalent Fractions

 If the both numerator and denominator of the fraction multiply or divide by a same
number such fractions are called as an equivalent fraction.

Comparison of Fractions
 Out of two unit fractions, the larger fraction is the fraction with the smaller denominator.
E.g.

 Out of two fractions having the same numerator, the larger fraction is the fraction with
the smaller denominator.
