LPE TRAINING OVERVIEW

Dear future colleague,

welcome to the ever-growing Aero Language network of aviation language proficiency specialists.

Aero Language is delighted to introduce the on-line Language proficiency examiner (LPE) training. Please find
below the roster and schedule for the accelerated ab-initio LPE training. You will be assigned to the respective
module based on your previous experience. Those of you who need to undertake the ICAO/EASA English
assessment it will be organized individually for each of you.

Accelerated course is mandatory for all participants and takes place during the published schedule. The
further on-job-training can be completed on your own convenience.

For the candidates without previous language proficiency checking experience, the exam and rating under
supervision is required for the LPE authorization.

The language proficiency training consists of the guided sessions with explanation of the company procedures
as well as the explanation of language descriptors to be observed during the exam process. Essential part of
the training is self-study and on-job-training. The training is competency-based – so we are developing your
current competences to bring you to the standards required by authorities and regulations.

Upon successful training, Aero Language will submit all training records, your CVs, personal documents, and
further professional evidence (language and aviation-related) to the supervising Authority for acceptance. The
final approval process usually takes up to 2 months starting by date of the submission of all documents.

NB: Schedule serves as advisory. All sessions are recorded, thus if you miss part or complete session, we will
follow up by providing you the recording for self-familiarization.

Aero Language is one of the leading Language testing bodies. We have our own workflow platform for
processing the exams. You will be given the access once accepted as an LPE by authority. Our flexibility and
reliability bring the added value to any flight schools, freelance instructors/examiners and operators.

Language proficiency assessments will be subject of major changes soon. By becoming a part in Aero Language
team, you will always be informed and current. Head of Aero Language is an EASA Senior Examiner with an
extensive experience with training and checking of pilots.
