Suzy Neal’s BLT Salad

INGREDIENTS :

o ½ Ingles bakery baguette, cut into cubes


o 3 tbsp. Laura Lynn light olive oil
o salt and pepper, to taste
o 1 head romaine lettuce, cut into bite size pieces, washed and spun dried
o 3 tomatoes, cut into chunks, seasoned with salt and pepper
o 8 oz. bag Laura Lynn mild cheddar cheese cubes
o 12 oz. Laura Lynn premium bacon, cooked crispy, and chopped
o 1 bottle Laura Lynn Ranch salad dressing

DIRECTIONS :

1. Make the croutons by heating a large sauté pan over medium heat.
Add the olive oil to the hot pan, then, when oil is hot, add bread
cubes. After bread absorbs the oil, toss frequently, and cook until
the bread is evenly toasted and browned. Remove from heat, then
season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

2. Add lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cheese cubes, croutons, and bacon


to a large salad bowl. Toss well, and serve with Ranch dressing on
the side.
