Watch the video about “The lessons of Nature” and answer these questions:

1. What event caused the speaker to be afraid of the water when they were younger?
His brother used to create histories about sharks in the pool, this stories caused him
to be afraid of the water.
2. What was the speaker's experience of learning to face their fear and scuba dive with
sharks like?
He went to Polynesia and there he had to experience the scuba, once he went to
the deep and saw the sharks he noticed they were amazing animals, so his fear was
changed for curiosity.
3. What is the speaker's message about curiosity and its importance in the world?
That we never have to lose our curiosity for fear to fail, this is a important way to
find solutions, not just for the world if not for our life daily problems.
4. What is the speaker referring to when they talk about the 'Kingdom of the Dolphins’?
That they are extremely intelligent, they have their self awareness and they are a
really united group, they identified that their environment is not the same as before
and are traveling to find a better home.
5. How has the pandemic been an opportunity for the speaker to reflect on their life?
Because we had a lot of time to think, and spend time with our family, we saw so
many people that passed away and this let us to value what we already have.
6. According to the speaker, what does the message of the whales teach us?
They teach us to see the other side of the coin, people normally have different
opinions so we need to listen those and take what we can take advantage of.
7. How do wild dolphins use more of their brains than humans?
Because of their wisdom, because their brain works in thinking about the whole
group not only in them as lonely animals.
8. What does the speaker suggest people need to do in order to make a difference?
To never lose curiosity, try to be better than our fears and take action to beat those
fears than don’t let us to progress, that’s the way we can make differences.
9. Why does the speaker think the dolphins are a parallel to what is happening to
humans?
Because they have conflict but with that conflict they find solutions.
10. What did the speaker suggest could be done on the individual level to achieve the
changes we wish to see?
Little changes in our habits can produce big changes in our lives, he recommend that
even if this habits are really small that can have a huge impact in what we are already
doing.
