1. Watch the following video with scenes from the movie Hercules

and complete the following statements from the video.

2. After having watched the four scenes of the video, write 4 sentences
using a future time clause that refer to each scene of the video.

For example: Hercules will be disappointed after he finds out Meg helped Hades.

 Scene 1: Hercules’s Godhood will be restored after he proves he is a true

hero.
  Scene 2: Hercules will rejoin his father after he becomes a true hero.
 Scene 3: Hercules will die if Phil don’t help him.
 Scene 4: Panic and Pain will be fine if Hades doesn´t know that they failed
in their mission.
3. Create a written composition where you talk about what Meg should
do. It does not matter if you have or have not watched the movie, your
answer should be about YOUR opinion. Should she help Hades and
betray Hercules in exchange of her freedom? Why? Use at least 2
conditional type 1 sentences and 3 future time clauses.

I think Meg shouldn't betray Hercules because Hercules trusts her, and they love
each other. Hercules will be fine and help her as soon as he can to have her
freedom again unless she betrays him, if she betrays Hercules, Hades will take a
lot of advantage and after Hades knows he has advantage of the situation he will
kill Hercules and Meg will lose him forever. She will only be deprived of her
freedom until Hercules knows it and it won´t take long for Hercules to know that the
woman he loves is “lost”. That is why she shouldn’t betray him; in the end, evil will
not defeat a true hero like Hercules. Also, a villain should not be trusted, as he may
lie just to take advantage of you.

4. Intermediate and advanced students: search for a recent event in your

city or country. Provide your opinion based on the available
information, using the first conditional and future tense in 10 different
sentences. Provide the source for the information

Flooding is constant in the mochis

 If people didn't litter, pipes wouldn't get clogged

 If people recycled more, there wouldn't be so much garbage
 If they maintained the pipes, they wouldn't fill up as fast.
 If all the streets were in good condition, not so much water would be stored
 If people did not cut down trees or plants, they would consume more
rainwater
  If the companies did not damage the soil so much, it would absorb more
water
 If hydraulic failures were not common, so much water would not have to be
released from dams
