 PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

ELV Site Engineer (Snr) ALEC Engineering and Contracting – Dubai, UAE Mar 2020 - Present

I am currently working with ALEC which is a leading innovative construction group based in Dubai. My responsibilities
include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage and execute ELV scope of work assigned by head of the department.
• Site walk with project team for work fronts to review work allocation, progress and work inspection approvals
and discuss activities for the following day.
• Provide updated weekly/monthly lookahead works with clear KPIs and targets to supervisors/foremen in a
simple readable format ensuring that the lookahead is in line with client/main contractor's program of works.
• Provide onsite supervision of sub-contractor personnel to ensure that their work is carried out as per the project
specifications and requirements during construction, phase start-up and commissioning of installed
equipment’s/systems until hand over.
• Prepare technical documents and provide technical support to project design on shop drawings, schematic
drawings, as-built drawings, method statement, material submittal, technical submittal, material sample
submittal, operation, and maintenance manual as per the project requirements.
• Audit all site requirements, ensure that site resources are allocated efficiently, consumables are not wasted,
tools/equipment are not kept idle.
• Prepare the project progress report, material tracking report, program of works and maintain throughout the
project.
• Support the project manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets to complete the project successfully.
• Coordinate with local authorities (DU, Etisalat and SIRA) to get the approval.
• Responsible to hand over the project successfully to client and support with service team for the entire DLP.
• Provides monthly feedback to the project manager for potential improvement areas and proposed
training/development field.
• Strive to propose innovative ideas to higher management that can increase work efficiency.

With ALEC, I have had the opportunity of working on iconic projects to further develop my abilities to become a
professional engineer and successfully transition to become a leader to my team. The projects I have been involved on
includes:

➢ One Zabeel – Dubai, UAE

A record-breaking project with the world’s longest cantilever composed of mixed-use spaces including 5 stars
hotels in the heart of Dubai.

Keynote: In this project, I had the opportunity of managing and supervising a team of specialists to build AV
experiences with large structures consisting of customized LED screens and to implement a high-end
performance stage including projectors, DMX controlled lights, motorised chain hoist, etc, in the one of a kind
“Link Bridge”. I also spent a great deal of time implementing guest room management systems for the 500
guest rooms that comprises the One&Only 5-star hotel.

➢ Ling Ling (Hakkassan) Restaurant – Royal Atlantis Resort, Dubai, UAE

Dubbed as ‘Dubai’s best restaurant”, Ling Ling opens to a dining room, an ultra-lounge club and outdoor
terraces offering fine dining, drinking, and dancing all in one.

Keynote: In this project, I was assigned as the Project manager, tasked with implementing and delivering the
complete AV, ICT and ELV system as per the client’s specifications.
MEP Site Engineer ALEMCO Electromechanical Contracting LLC – Dubai, UAE Feb 2019- Mar 2020

I joined ALEMCO in 2019 after graduating the same year. ALEMCO provides clients with a turnkey electromechanical
construction service, facilities management, full maintenance, and callout facilities amongst others. ALEMCO really
introduced me to the MEP and ELV construction field developing my interest more towards building technologies. My
responsibilities were:

• Manage the on-site MEP engineering as per the scope requirement.

• Ensure that all installation/statutory/consultants/local authorities’ approvals and guidelines are always applied
on site and that the contract specifications and requirement are upheld as per the company QA/QC policy.
• Provide onsite supervision of sub-contractor personnel and ensure that subcontractors’ work is carried out as
per the project specifications and requirements during construction and commissioning of installed
equipment’s/systems until hand over.
• Prepare progress report and workforce efficiency report to present to senior management on weekly basis.

With ALEMCO, I was involved mostly at the finishing stage of the following project:
➢ Jumeirah Living Marina Gate Project
An exceptional urban living project comprising of residences and a 5-star hotel.

Keynote: In this project, I was tasked with completing the MEP equipment installation with testing and
commissioning.

I am driven by the vision of providing a sustainable environment for the wellbeing of humankind which is why I believe that the
construction industry can be a great place to make small changes towards a more sustainable and hospitable environment for
everyone. I am always keen to learn and try to understand more at every possible occasion.

On a personal side, I am a tech and science enthusiast and someone that also enjoys discovering new places and cultures. My hobby
is video creation and I spend most of my free time sharpening my video creation skills.
