Stanley Ka dabba review

‘Stanley ka Dabba’ is a heart-touching movie that addresses some of the

most significant world problems in 1 hour and 30 minutes. The movie starts
like a normal movie directed nowadays but as it moves on, the real issues
start to uncover.

Other than child labor, ‘Stanley ka Dabba’ also depicts issues like stealing
of a child’s right to education (RTE), bad mentorship, child harassment, etc.

While the movie might not contain as good graphics and cinematography
as the other movies of the genre, It has a conjoining factor that connects
you to the scenario shown in the movie. Especially in the end when
Stanley’s parent’s truth was revealed and so were his living conditions.

The movie kept me bound to the couch till the very end and it was able to
take up a special place in my heart. I would rate this movie a solid 8.5/10
because while it was filled with knowledge and fun, it was lacking behind
some aspects like the camera quality and the style of filming. Otherwise, it
is a masterpiece by Amole Gupte who also played the role of ‘Khadoos’ as
well as being the writer. (source- IMDb)
