Lesson Plan in English II
I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students can:
A. Identify the consonants and vowels in the alphabet;
B. Give example of words that starts with the vowels and consonants; and
C. Construct words that follow a specific pattern, containing both consonant and
vowel letters.

The teacher will show cut-out letters


to everyone and the students will use
their bodies to form the letters into
words. The teacher will repeat the letters
aloud and hang it into the board, and the
children will use their bodies to form the
letters to form the words “vowel” and
“consonant”.

Basket B

The teacher will present two printed


basket and a tree holding the cut-out
letters that are colored blue and red.
Blue letters will represent the consonant
letters, whereas the red letters will
represent the vowel letters. In addition,
basket A will hold the consonant letters
while basket B will hold vowel letters of
the alphabet. The teacher will instruct
the students to pick/harvest the colored
letters on the tree and separate the letters
and place it on their corresponding
basket.
