Let’s bow our heads and feel the presence of the Lord

Dear God,

We come before you with grateful hearts/ as we celebrate this graduation ceremony.
/We thank you for the hard work,/ dedication,/ and perseverance of the graduates/, and
for the support and encouragement/ of their families’,/ friends,/ and teachers.//

As we begin this ceremony, /we ask for your presence to be with us./ May your love/
and grace fill this space, /and may we feel your peace /and joy in our hearts.//

We pray for the graduates/ as they begin a new chapter in their lives. /May they use the
knowledge /and skills/ they have gained/ to make a positive impact /in the world. //May
they be guided/ by your wisdom /and your love/, and may they always strive/ to be
people of integrity /and character.//

We also ask for your blessings/ upon the families,/ friends,/ and teachers of the
graduates./ We pray/ that they will continue/ to support/ and encourage/ the graduates
in their future endeavors.//

As we celebrate this milestone,/ we ask that this ceremony/ be a time of joy,/

celebration, /and gratitude. //May we be filled with gratitude/ for all that you have done
for us,/ and may we leave here today/ inspired and uplifted.//

We commit this graduation ceremony/ to your hands, /and we pray that everything we
say/ and do/ will be pleasing in your sight.//
