Qatar Customs Procedure For Export and Import
cargo. Clearing agent will pay port charges and arrange entry gate pass of truck and
handover to transporter.
• Once loading is completed, trailer driver can go to port with entry pass to customs
inspection area. Customs will check the cargo and if he finds all ok as per documents,
customs will close the container and locked it with customs and shipping line seal.
• Trailer driver will offload the container at shipping line export slot in port.
4. AIR EXPORT
• As per Qatar Customs, for any kind of shipments, required original invoice with cargo value,
currency, shipment terms, HS Code of items, stamped by shipper – endorsed from chamber
of commerce.
Original Packing list-stamped by shipper, with total no of packages, Total gross weight
Original certificate of Origin with wet ink endorsed from chamber of commerce.
All above mention shipment should have same consignee details and gross weight, no of
packages should match with all documents
• For customs clearance, consignee should be register in Qatar customs single window and
consignee needs to authorized our clearing company in single window paying QAR 50.
• Chamber of commerce require import bill of entry; which shipper should have when they
have imported this cargo. Also, for any kind of steel, chamber also require approval from
Qatar Steel, without this, chamber will not issue certificate of origin and without certificate
of origin, customs will not be allowed to clear shipment
• Once all documents are ready and booked space with Airline, clearing agent will file export
bill of entry and upload all documents including AWB to single window.
• Once Export bill of entry is prepared, client needs to pay customs handling charges through
customs online system.
• After that cargo can be brought to airport for customs clearance and after clearance, cargo
will be handover to QAS.
