Dogriffic Animal Clinic
Task 1: Wages and Fixed Costs
This section contains specific information on the center's annual operating expenses,
including yearly salary for representatives calculated by hour and week of the month,
fixed expenses such as rent and insurance, and other utility bills.
• In this approach, we were able to calculate the cost of working by determining the
number of hours each employee works each week.
• To get the number of days in a year, divide 365 by 7. In any event, because the
estimation's output will be in floating point values, I utilized Excel's round () function
to get a precise figure for each week of the year when another parameter is true
or false, which is set to 0.
• Then I figure out how many hours I can squeeze out of each week.
• In terms of salary, there will be an increase in the number of hours worked each
year and the amount paid hourly.
• We calculate Total Wages of Representatives by adding all workers' annual
remuneration.
• Currently, we want a fixed cost of $16384 per year and a utility expenditure of $390
per month for the fixed cost of the center, but we want an annual expense, thus
we want to duplicate with the number of months in a year.
• Finally, the absolute working expenditures must be calculated. We're looking for
the whole amount of workers' compensation as well as a set cost.
• What is the projection of total costs for the next year, including labour, annual, and
monthly costs?
The total operational expenditures for a Dogriffic Animal Clinic is $128,782. The labor
cost is $107,718, while the fixed cost is $21,064 in this case. Because it is feasible that
the price of commodities like rent, insurance, and gas costs may rise next year, the total
labor cost will likely increase by 5% to 7%. As a result, the fixed cost will grow to $22,117
if it rises by 5%. As a result, next year's total cost is expected to be $135,221.

• How much income does Dogriffic Animal Clinic need per month to cover the above
costs?
The overall operational cost is $128,782, with the pet center responsible for $10,731
every month. As a result, Dogriffic Animal Clinic's monthly income must be more than
$10,731 to pay all expenditures.

• What is the projection of labor costs only for the next year, if both veterinarians were to
cost $45 per hour, but the clinic closed on Fridays?
The projection of labour costs for next year will be $107,718 as shown in above figure.
Task 2: Analysis
• Which animal type has the fewest emergency visits overall?
I learn about all of the emergency visits by identifying two fields, animals and
consolation, so that I may study the animals with the fewest. Rabbit has the fewest
emergency visits of all the animals, at 23 visits.
Task 3: History Visualization
• How consultations differ between animal types?
I've picked three fields from the dataset for this example: consultation, animals, and
price ($). Because of the proposed chart of the consultation selection, it autoes fills all
of the data into the chart and generates a visual representation.

• How prices or expences have changed over time?

I've used two fields in this example: quote data and price, to examine how the value
has changed over time. To get the average price, I used the AVERAGEIFS function.
At the same time, whether I use (=AVERAGEIFS(B:B,A:A,"Quote Date") or not, the
result will be the same, but it will take a long time. Last but not least, I built a chart to
graphically illustrate or support the facts.
• How consultations have differed between veterinarians?
By choosing fields: prices and date from a table of all consultations with different
columns for Prices, we may review the whole consultation and analyze the suggested
or recommended chart of the possibilities. It will automatically insert all of the data into
a chart and show how veterinarian consultations differed graphically.
Task 4: Price consistency
We'll begin by categorizing the consultations according to their cost. To sort this out, we'll
need to use filters depending on consultations, such as checkups and immunizations.
We'd also like to do the same thing with the animal. After that, I copied all of the
information to a new page to compute the average cost per consultation.
Task 5: Process Improvement

From the figure above, we may conclude that the clientele is aware of the clinic. The staff
at the veterinary clinic will ask you a few questions and double-check your answers to
make sure they're correct. They'll next ask what kind of consultation you want: a checkup
or a vaccine. The two types of consultations are checkups and vaccinations. The
employee will enter the information into an Excel spreadsheet after getting it from the
customer. It includes the sort of consultation and the animal type (e.g., bird, dog). The
customer will be given a price quotation for the item. If the price is acceptable, the
customer may confirm and arrange an appointment. If this is not the case, they must re-
submit their request.
