Part One: Understanding COVID-19
Focus: Today we are going to begin a series on mini lessons that will help us better understand the
coronavirus – or COVID-19. We promise you that as a community, we are taking the right steps to
make sure everybody is safe! When we learn more about COVID-19, we will be able to make sure
that we understand the virus and are careful to take all the necessary steps to being safe. In today’s
lesson, we will start by learning more about what a coronavirus is and how it spreads. By
understanding how it spreads, we can take the right steps to keeping ourselves healthy and stop the
spreading.
