Lesson Idea Name: Weather clouds!

What is the student learning goal for this lesson idea?


I want my student to know each types clouds and weather to podcast the school announcement or
even to communicate to the public as well.

Selected Instructional Software Tool: Multimedia tools: Spotify podcast, video, news report.
(Students choice).

Description of Software: These are tools that can be useful for any technology designed. Their free
and easy. Students can have fun creative their ideas into a video or podcast.

How do you plan to implement this lesson and integrate the technology? Check all that apply:

Lesson idea implementation:


First, I will introduce the lesson today. Start opening discussion with the whole class, get an idea of
what or how many types of cloud are out there. Then discussing how multimedia tools, Spotify
podcast, news. We will begin by me starting with a short video about clouds and a short clip about
students using podcast and creating a video and broadcasting for their school announcement. Then I
will start the PowerPoint talking about clouds, and what type of clouds are there. After I will start
explaining the assignment, they can work by themselves, partners, and have the choice to do a video
or podcast. I will explain more about how to use Spotify podcast, or videos. Now we will head
outside, take about 10 minutes out there draw or write about what type of clouds do they see. We
will head back start working. I will be walking around the class and see of students have any
questions or help. We will be working on this assignment in class, and it will be due on Friday after
lunch time. We will have five days to work on it. Students will require to present their video or
podcast. After hearing all students present, we will have a close discussion about the assignment,
what they learned, did they find this fun and interesting, would they like to do this again?
Managing student learning:
I believe this will shift in the behavior by learning the other side, students will become active social
learners. As a result, they will be made aware of their options.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Reflection:
It provides options for physical action, communication, and expression that meets UDL principle of
multiple means of action and expression. The UDL principle of multiple means of engagement is also
met by recruiting interests, sustaining effort, and persistence.
Reflection:

I believe this lesson plan will get my students excited, ready to learn. Having my students to take lead and work
together, I believe they will be engaged, motivated, and motivated to learn. Viewing their presentations and
receiving feedback from my students are all things I am looking forward to.
