CAIS Back-to-School Evening

Dear Parents and Students,

We sincerely hope that you and your families and friends are safe and healthy and like us
you are looking forward to the new school year. CAIS is excited about being able to start
the new school year with students on campus and we are keen to welcome you all, via
Zhumu, to join our Back-to-School Evening on Friday, August 19, 2022.

Back-to-School Evening 4:00-5:00pm

In preparation for the new academic year, on Friday, August 19, 2022, we are organizing
an online event via ZHUMU where you will be introduced to your homeroom teachers. If
you are unsure how to either download or use ZHUMU, please see the PDF attached.

All teachers located in China will be presenting from school and will physically join
the presentations. The teachers still located outside of China or in quarantine will
join remotely via ZHUMU.

EY & Primary
Teachers will be presenting a session from their classrooms which will be recorded and
shared on Toddle after the event for your convenience.

Secondary
Secondary teachers will be presenting by grade level which will be recorded and shared
on ManageBac after the event for your convenience. We have also uploaded a Subject
brief to explain the nature of the students’ learning in each subject.

QR code for the Welcome Message from the Head of School and Principals for the New
Academic Year.
In preparation for school starting, please read the attachments for the Bring Your Own
Device requirements (PYP4 to DP2 students) and the Covid-19 prevention requirement
forms.
We look forward to welcoming all students on campus at 7:50AM on Monday, August 22,
2022.

CAIS 满怀欣喜地迎接孩子们返校。我们诚邀您于 2022 年 8 月 19 日（星期五）通过瞩目在
线参加返校之夜活动。

返校之夜 下午 4:00-5:00

学校将于 8 月 19 日(星期五) 通过瞩目举办在线返校之夜活动，向您介绍新学年班级任课教

师及课程内容。请查看下方 PDF 附件，下载及使用瞩目。

所有到岗教师将在学校现场进行介绍展示。 仍在境外或者正在隔离的教师将通过瞩目远程
加入活动。

幼儿园及小学部

教师将在各班教室里进行介绍，会议将被全程录制并在会后发布至 Toddle 便于家长查看。

中学部

中学教师以年级为单位进行介绍，会议将被全程录制并在会后发布至 ManageBac 便于家长

查看。我们还上传了一个学科简介，阐述学生在每个学科中的学习特点。
