Al-Adiyat 30

Bismillah hir rahman nir raheem

Wal’aadi yaati dabha [1] Fal moori yaati qadha [2] Fal mugheeraati

subha [3] Fa atharna bihee naq’a [4] Fawa satna bihee jam’a [5]

Innal-insana lirabbihee lakanood [6] Wa innahu ‘alaa zaalika la shaheed [7] Wa innahu lihubbil-

khairi la shadeed [8] Afala ya’lamu iza b’uthira ma filquboor [9]

Wa hussila maa fis sudoor [10] Inna rabbahum bihim yauma ‘izin lakhabeer [11]

Sahih International Translation 3. And the chargers at dawn,

100. Al-Adiyat
Ayat : 11 | Makiyyah
In the name of Allah, the Entirely
Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
1. By the racers, panting,
2. And the producers of sparks
[when] striking
4. Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,
5. Arriving thereby in the center collectively,
6. Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
7. And indeed, he is to that a witness.
8. And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
9. But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
10. And that within the breasts is obtained,
11. Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted.
