German Language Enrollment Training

Process
Overview
We will provide an intensive training program over 8 weeks. The course will run
from Monday to Saturday each week as follows:
- The program will be fast paced and rigorous. The first 3 days will enable
the trainers to assess which candidates are grasping the teaching
methodology.
- There will be a maximum of 25 students per classroom.
- Those deemed to show little interest or not participating as expected
will have to be removed from the course.
- Those that are showing keen interest but have a slow pick up will be
put in a separate classroom. They will need a longer training time and
will not be put forward for the test in 8 weeks.
- An e- learning licence will be purchased for all students that have
successfully completed first 3 days of teaching.
- Training day: 90 minutes per session training followed by 15 min break.
- 2nr 90 minute sessions in the morning and 2 nr sessions in the afternoon.
- All teaching is digital online ( e-learning) so laptops are required by all
students.
- Daily homework will be provided which will be uploaded on digital e-
learning platform for assessment.
- Progress assessments will be conducted each Saturday.
- It is preferred that all students reside in local accommodation

On first day of enrollment, all students are to bring the following documents:
- Detailed CV ( see sample)
- Passport copy + digital passport photo
- Birth certificate copy
- Degree / Diploma
- Registered nurse certificate / licence copy
- Copy of study syllabus for each semester/ year
- Employer reference letter.
- All candidates must bring a laptop.
1. CV
A properly formatted CV is required with the following key points:
o Clear digital passport sized photograph with a white background
o Sequential work history with most recent experience at the top
o Work history must include details of tasks and hours spent in each
position
o Please see example CV at the end of the checklist

2. References
o You must provide signed and stamped reference letters from
each employer. It must provide details of your position, how long
you worked there including start and end dates.

o If you cannot provide reference letters for all positions taken, we


will require the most recent employment reference i.e. your
current or last job (if you are not in employment currently)

o If you cannot provide reference letters for all positions taken, we


will require other evidence of employment such as pay slips
received for each position

3. Qualifications
o A copy of your degree/diploma certificate
o Details of the syllabus for each semester in each year, in
sequential order from year 1 onwards. Example, Year 1 broken
down by semester etc. This must be provided from university or
college.
o Hours spent per subject, type and scope of subjects taught (i.e.
theory and practical) and details of which department this is in
o Please see example of course syllabus at the end of the checklist

4. General
o Copy of birth certificate - on enrolment.
o Police clearance certificate, - on passing B1.
o Medical check - on passing B1.
o Valid passport copy - on enrolment.
