Welcome to the NMIMS Family!
As you prepare to take the final step toward achieving your dreams and embark on your regular
classes, we believe it's time for some excitement and adventure! It's time to delve into the
enchanting world of the "City of Dreams" - Mumbai. This city will soon become a part of your
heart and soul, leaving an indelible mark on your life. Even if you eventually leave, Mumbai will
forever stay with you.
Mumbai, also known as Bombay or affectionately referred to as "Aamchi Mumbai," is truly a
city of dreams. It embraces people from all walks of life, welcoming them with open arms and a
warm heart. Whether it's the vast stretches of the sea, the towering skyscrapers, the bustling
bazaars, the monsoon showers that are quintessential "Mumbai ki Baarish," the vibrant
nightlife, or the world's largest entertainment industry, this city is sure to captivate your senses.
Before you dive into the demanding B-school life filled with assignments, projects, quizzes,
deadlines, lectures, exams, and a whirlwind of activities, it's only fair that you experience the
city that will nurture you for the next two years, and a place you are going to call home, in a
truly unique and competitive way.

Welcome to the Mumbai Darshan!

We have planned a day of group activities for you to explore Mumbai. All students will be
divided into groups of 14 or 15 members, each led by a designated Point of Contact (POC). The
POC will be responsible for all deliverables and communication between the team and the
Student Council. Additionally, a student coordinator from the senior batch has been assigned to
each group, who will serve as your point of contact throughout the day. We will provide you
with their names and contact details shortly.
