Topic: Describe an interesting city (favorite area of your country)

I will tell you about Cantho city, my hometown and it’s also my favorite area that
I know and like.
It’s from the south of Vietnam and it belongs to Mekong Delta. There are some
famous places such as Cai Rang floating market, Nink Kieu quay and amusement center
– Sense City.,etc…
Firstly, the Cai Rang floating market is opened in the early morning from 4:30am
or 05am. The business activities take place on river and there are some specific fruit that
are not only popular in Cantho but also in Mekong Delta namely Nam Roi grapefruit,
watermelon or mangoes….Besides, the local people are truly friendly and hospitality.
When I travelled there and there were some things I didn’t understand, I asked and they
helped me thoroughly.
Secondly, the Ninh Kieu quay is famous place as well. There’s a big status of
Uncle Ho who was ex-leader of Vietnam, he led the Vietnamese people to victory over
the French colonialists and the American imperialists. Furthermore, having dinner on
Cantho Dinner Cruise is great, I can view beautiful sight on the big ship and enjoy nice
foods which is specific of South of Vietnam. Besides, I like to go to the pedestrian bridge
of Ninh Kieu quay, it’s a long bridge so that I can do exercise in every morning like
walking or jogging.
Finally, the amusement center – Sense City is both of supermarket and
entertainment area. There are many goods such as fresh fruits or vegetables and seafood
that I buy every weekend. Moreover, I can play games in entertainment area, they help
me to relax after hard working.
Commonly, I love Cantho city because it’s the place where I was born and grew
up. It gave me good memories since my childhood. Even if I live far away from home, I
always want to come back this city.
