Mission 01 Briefing
Mission 01 Briefing
Mission 1
MiG-21 Transfer and Fam Flight
Overview
The player, callsign Bandit 1, will transfer a MiG-21 from the Groom Lake facility to
Tonopah Test Range Airfield. A chase F-5E, callsign Baron 1, will accompany Bandit 1
along the route and provide a tour of the airspace. Basic Fighter Maneuvers (BFM)
setups may be flown at the end of the tour if fuel permits.
Recovery will be at Tonopah Test Range Airfield, runway 32. At least one simulated
flameout (SFO) approach should be flown to maintain proficiency.
* There are no mission success criteria. You are the best judge of your own performance so the
campaign advances automatically if you select ‘end mission’ at the debriefing screen.
