Reversing (Impromptu)
Reversing (Impromptu)
A very good morning to the honorable judges, wonderful teachers, fellow contestants, and
my dearest audiences. My name is PIRAIYALAGI daughter of MUNISWARAN. I am very honor
and glad to be here today sharing my taught and views on a topic that is very dear to me
which is Revere the divine, respect the sovereign
Malaysia is a country rich in culture and tradition, and one of the most important
aspects of its cultural heritage is the concept of respect and honor. This can be
observed in the use of various phrases and titles such as 'revered,' 'divine,' and
'sovereign.'
For instance, Hinduism is one of the major religions in Malaysia, and its followers
consider Lord Murugan to be a divine figure. The Batu Caves in Selangor is a
significant Hindu temple in Malaysia that is devoted to Lord Murugan. Here, devotees
offer their prayers and seek Lord Murugan's divine intervention in their lives.
Lastly, the concept of 'sovereign' is used in Malaysia to indicate that someone is the
head of state or has supreme power over a country. This term is often used in
reference to the King or Queen of Malaysia, who is the highest-ranking member of
the Royal Family and serves as the country's ceremonial head.
The King of Malaysia is also known as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, which means 'He
Who Is Made Lord' in Malay. The title is meant to signify that the King is chosen by a
council of elected officials who represent Malaysia's different regions. The King's role
is to protect the nation's sovereignty and uphold the country's constitution.
In conclusion, Malaysia's culture and tradition places a great emphasis on respect and
honor. This can be seen in the use of honorific titles such as 'divine,' 'revered,' and
'sovereign.' By showing respect and reverence to important religious figures, spiritual
places, and the country's royal family, Malaysians reaffirm their commitment to their
cultural heritage. This tradition of respect and honor continues to be an essential
aspect of Malaysia's identity and has contributed to its unique and rich cultural
tapestry.
