DISCIPLINARY WARNING
Before a law graduate is admitted as an advocate and solicitor, the Bar Council will request for a Confidential Report from the university on
whether there is any ground of objection against the admission as well as whether the graduate is of good character.
The clarification from the Bar Council on what is not good character "includes, but is not limited to, any act of a criminal nature which
involves fraud or dishonesty, including cheating during an examination or being found to have committed an act of plagiarism."
Kindly be warned that you do not attempt to cheat in the exam or in any assessment or be found to have committed any disciplinary
offence. The university has a legal obligation to convey this information to the Bar Council before the admission of the candidate, and this
may affect the candidate's admission as an advocate and solicitor.
