ABOUT ME

I am Pratul Goyal, an experienced data science professional with an MBA in Data Science and Business
Analytics from the Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur. I also hold a B. Tech degree in
Biotechnology from Pantnagar University. With over 7 years of experience, I have developed expertise
in statistical modelling, machine learning, and web deployment.

In my role as a Senior Software Engineer at Mindtree Ltd, I have worked on the Leveredge project,
focusing on Unilever Sales and Distribution in the retail and CPG domain. I successfully managed the
migration of On-Prem Databases to Azure Amsterdam, demonstrating my expertise in cloud migration
and data warehousing. Leading the Azure Database Migration, I met tight deadlines and solved
complex technical problems. I also designed and implemented CI/CD pipelines on Azure, showcasing
my proficiency in Python, GitHub, and YAML Pipelines. Leveraging my strong foundation in Python,
data analysis, and machine learning, I developed and deployed Machine Learning pipelines on Azure.
I utilized advanced clustering algorithms for market segmentation and conducted A/B testing for
Unilever products. Additionally, I created predictive models for complex website traffic data and
classification models for personalized customer experiences. My expertise further extends to
designing and implementing churn models to predict and mitigate customer attrition.

Prior to my current role, I worked as a Data Science Consultant at Simplilearn, where I conducted
extensive training sessions in R and Python, accumulating over 1200 hours of training experience. I
provided guidance and support to students working on capstone projects, leveraging my expertise in
tools and libraries such as Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, PySpark, NumPy, Pandas, and NLTK. During my
tenure at Simplilearn, I also had the opportunity to train industry professionals, imparting knowledge
on Business Analytics, Operation Research, Business Analytics, and Data Analytics.

I have also served as an Assistant Professor at Graphic Era Hill University from 2018 to 2021. During
this time, I taught courses on Business Analytics, Operation Research, Business Analytics, and Data
Analytics. My experience as an educator allowed me to further deepen my understanding of these
subjects and effectively communicate complex concepts to students.

In earlier roles, I worked as a Data Science Trainer at The Princeton Review and as a Data Analyst at
SVM Infotech. In these positions, I collaborated with stakeholders, developed advanced data analysis
techniques, and created visualizations using tools like Tableau to track key performance indicators.

I possess strong programming skills in Python and SQL, along with expertise in cloud technologies such
as Azure Cloud and AWS. Proficient in regression analysis, statistical modelling, and various data
analysis techniques like data wrangling, data visualization, and exploratory data analysis (EDA), I am
adept at utilizing tools and libraries such as Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, PySpark, NumPy, Pandas, and NLTK.
I also have experience in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and YAML Pipelines. My additional skills include
cloud migration, data warehousing, market segmentation, A/B testing, predictive modelling, and churn
modelling.
