For Sustainable Cities & Communities & Climate Action Sep. 11

Focus Program:
Installation/maintenance of public shelters/
public gardening/tree planting on road side/ Sign boards

Additional programs:
• Organise NET –ZERO Awareness (Decarbonization efforts are needed to reach NET ZERO by 2030.)
• Awareness camps for promoting electric vehicles
• Anti narcotic, anti-tobacco awareness programs;
Tie up with Excise department and conduct programs in school & colleges
• Exhibition of short films/PPTs of road safety/traffic rules; Tie-up with RTO and create awarenes
• Campaign Silent road - Use Brain Not Horn

For No Poverty and Zero Hunger
Focus Program:
DAAN
(An initiative to reach out to those people who are downtrodden and
side-lined from the privileged class of our society.)
• Distribution of food / food Kits for need in the community/locality

• Distribution of Sewing Machine for the needy.
• Support local vendors/farmers by purchasing your daily need
• Clean Plate Awareness program in various Schools/Colleges/Corporate
Institutions
• Celebrate birthday/anniversary of your member by donating food in
Old age home/Orphanage

Focus Program:
Buy from a JC and Promote own business
among Public (Social Media Promotions )

• Promote “Buy From Jaycee” initiative by offering
special discounts for Jaycee members
• Connect SMA and JCOM, Conduct orientation
• Adding Entrepreneurs and professionals
in the Local Organization
• Organize B2B multi LO meeting

For Quality Education, Livelihood & Brotherhood

Focus Program:
Recognise Parents/Better-half/Children of
JCI Officials/Leaders (Past & Present) for their
extended support to perform well in JCI

Additional programs:
• Recognise the families selflessly serving th society
• Identify past Jaycee member and recognise their
contribution for the organization and induct them to SMA
• Salute the Silent Workers on various fields
• Install 3 members to SMA while recognizing,
Involve SMA Members too.

For Celebrations & Recognitions
Focus Program:
Mega public closing ceremony in the presence of celebrities/
public figures with recognitions including the full family

Additional programs:
• In house recognitions

• Recognise Social leaders/Media Persons/Cultural leaders

• Organise mass induction to JCI and SMA

• Organise Car/Bike/ Cycle Rally

• Honour JCOM & SMA members who contributing selflessly

to organization
General Guidelines
1. Plan all the programs well in advance.
2. Each day has one FOCUS PROGRAM and other additional programs.
FOCUS PROGRAM is compulsory and minimum one from additional is compulsory too.
3. Green protocols are compulsory. Use only nature friendly materials.
Avoid flex banners, plastic items.
4. Appoint JCI Week Co ordinatior, Project managers and Day in Charge well in advance for
better execution and maximum involvement.
5. Ensure maximum PR through visual& print media before each event.
6. Mass Media coverage with photos (Audio (FM) / Video News Coverage/
News Paper Printed Coverage is mandatory) after completion of each projects/programs.
7. Get the involvement and participation of available leaders from various fields/organisations.
8. Get necessary permissions from the authorities concerned.
Display nature friendly banners ,hoardings, posters etc. in prominent places well in advance.
9. Programs can be organized in association with Local self government Organistions and other
like minded organizations.
10. Ensure the presence of prominent personalities, schools, Colleges, NGOs, Police, Excise, Press,
Media, SMA, JCOM in various programas.
11. JCI Week 2023 (JAITHRA) official banner should be displayed in all programs
(will be available at www.jciindia.in under program area)
12. Organise all programs as PUBLIC PROGRAMS.

Recognitions
• Best 50 LOs across all India (2 Los from each Zone) for each day will be recognized by National
Coordinator and Result will be announced by second day based on the coverage at least one
print media and reporting by LOs . (Try to get maximum coverage through print/visual media.
Deadline to send report: 11.59 pm of next day)
• Outstanding 10 ZPs, 10 ZD Programs, 10ZC JCI Week will be recognised each day by National
Coordinator as per the number of reports received from Zones.
• Best 3 LOs as Most Outstanding Project/Program based on maximum PR and outreach will be
recognised by National Coordinator, JCI Week.
• On completion of JCI Week & most outstanding 7 LOs will be recognized as JAITHRA LOs by
National Coordinator, JCI Week based on entire 7 days reporting
• Top 5ZPs, 5 ZD Programs, 5ZC JCI Week will be rcognised by National Coordinator
• JAITHRA DHAMKKA: 3 LOs will be awarded by National Coordinator, JCI Week on the basis of the
submission of digital album including the entire activities of JAITHRA on or before 22.09.2023
• Daily reports should be sent to ncjciweek2023@gmail.com, prgns@jciindia.in
ONLY in prescribed format OR google form which will be circulated by NHQ
• The Best Project photos and Digital video albums will be published in JCI India Website and
Social media pages.
