VI- RATIONALE:
DepEd Order No. 008 s 2023 and DepEd Order No. 034, s 2022 mandated the field
to conduct Midyear Performance Review and Evaluation and School-Based INSET which
aims to evaluate school progress in the implementation of the educational PAPs, as well as
in reviewing the performance of teachers and school staff to address concerns through
cooperative effort. It is also devoted to the conduct of activities for the teachers’ continued
professional development and the preparation of their instructional materials.
The school’s In-Service training include topics on PPST Resource Package: Content
and Pedagogy, Learning Environment and Diversity of Learners, Assessment and Reporting,
Personal Growth and Professional Development. It also includes topics on Classroom
Assessment and Conducting Basic/Action Research.
VII. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the training, the participants will be able to:
1. improve the teaching-learning process
2. improve assessment process
3. enable teachers to support each other to continuously improve their content and
pedagogical knowledge, practice, skills, and attitudes;
4. write an action or basic research proposal.
