Sulu Province

Sulu is a province in the Sulu Archipelago and part of the BARMM REGION. Its capital is Jolo
and people here from Sulu are called Tausug which means “the people of the sea currents” their
major language spoken here is the Tausug language. You can get here by air or water
transportation. In addition, the area is the location of the Jolo Group of Volcanoes, and contains
numerous volcanic cones and craters. Lastly, Fishery, agriculture, and weaving is their industry
since they are surrounded with body of waters and rich with resources.
