JOB SUMMARY / BROAD FUNCTIONS:

JOB SUMMARY
The ELECTRICIAN will lead the hands-on management of engineering assets/deliverables on a daily operation of the Engineering Division in coordination with his
& Engineering Manager, Supervisor and manage the company’s asset management policies and procedures.

GENERAL FUNCTION
The function of Electrician is to perform both internal & external engineering services commensurate to the field of specialization. The secondary function is to
provide lateral support to Mobile Service Group (MSG) in terms of design implementation & improving business solutions in relation to cold storage owner
situation & current technological developments.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Leadership & Management
1. Represent the engineering services in a positive and professional manner;
2. Work with all personnel and outside contracts to satisfy clients and achieve company goals;
3. Identify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions;
4. Submit not less than one operational improvement issue per month to the immediate head;
5. Arrive to work and meeting on time and prepared;
6. Maintain work areas in a safe and a clean and organized manner;
7. Perform any other duties assigned by immediate superior;
8. Develop Plans to reduce rework with the aim of eliminating it;
9. Ensure that workers are following all safety guidelines;

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Electrician is responsible of ensuring that:
1. All of the duties are completed within the day tasked;
2. Service Reports and other documentations of internal process are completed accurately & timely.
3. Initiate energy and projects/tactics/techniques that will differentiate the servicing over competitors.
4. Forecasts the ordering of parts needed for the regular maintenance to sustain the operation required to meet plant’s target generation.
5. Initiate activities that will enhance harmonious productive working relationship with other departments within the organization Example, Health,
Safety and Environment with the HSE Officer.
a. Ascertain 0 hours downtime and 0 cases in health, safety and hazardous environment.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Must report on time to department head on daily basis &perform & file weekly reports.

MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE
The following are the broad guidelines of measuring performance of RMT. Quantitative & quantitative measurement procedures are outlined in the evaluation
documents.
1. Demonstration of thorough knowledge of the required skills to the position.
2. Internal & External customer service satisfaction
3. Regular on time attendance history & shift flexibility to meet changing customer deands
4. Service Level attainment
5. Accuracy & regularity of completion of internal process documentation

Reports to: Engineering Manager / Plant Engineer
