Discussion :  

“MAPEH is an academic subject that develops creativity and life skills of students. It
is enjoyable, builds self-confidence and improves one’s health and fitness. And, it is
important for the development of a holistic health and well-being of all ages”

With concrete plans, the DCNHS-JHS MAPEH Department in collaboration with the
DCNHS-SHS P.E. and Arts Department, organized and designated coordinators, coaches
and sports club advisers spearheaded by Mam Maribel S. Diolazo and Sir Widmark F.
Balmores.

The objective of the meeting is to organize City High Mabila-bilay Sports Clubs which
includes teachers from the Junior High School and Senior High School for the continuity of
the school sports program of the DepEd Bureau of Learning Development After School
Sports Program, ensuring that the club/organization meet all requirements to maintain their
duties, including attending trainings and professional development workshops, discussing
and synthesizing teachers to issues of sports diversity and equity, assisting with the
assessment and improvement of club meetings and programming, providing expert
knowledge support the success and sustainability of the organization, suggesting and

encouraging new programming ideas and maintaining open lines of communication with
coordinators, coaches and sports club advisers. Sports club are required to submit the
following:
1- Action Plan
2- Training Design
3- Innovation/Proposal
4- Quarterly Narrative Reports

The meeting was so interesting that teachers attentively listened to the talk. Open
forum was addressed by the facilitators and questions were raised, exchanging ideas and
opinions was entertained and come up with good results. Mrs. Maribel S. Diolazo updated
the upcoming activities of the department.
