‫ َوَك َان ْت‬.

‫طاِبيثَا‬
َ ‫اس ُم َها‬ ِِ ِ
There was a believer in Joppa named Dorcas. She was ْ ٍ ٌ‫َوَك َان ْت في َياَفا تْلمي َذة‬
.ِ‫افَُق ََ ِا‬
ُ ‫َصقَّ ُُ َعَل‬ ٍ ْ ‫تَُقوم َد ِائما ِب‬
always doing kind things for others and helping the poor. َ َ‫أع َمال َح َس َنة َوتَت‬ ً ُ
 ِ ِ ِ
One day, she got sick and died. َ َِ ‫ َم‬،‫افوْقت‬
.‫ض ْت َو َماتَ ْت‬ َ ‫َوفي َذف َك‬
 ‫ َفَل قما َس ِم َع افتق ََل ِمي ُذ‬.‫افلَِِّّ َق َِ َيب ًة ِم ْن َبْل ََّ ِة َياَفا‬
ُّ ‫وَكان ْت بْلَّة‬

The believers had heard that Peter was nearby at
‫ال‬ ِ ِ ِ ‫أرسلُوا َر ُجَل‬ ِ ُّ ِ ‫طَس َك‬ ‫ق‬
Lydda, so they sent two men to beg him, “Please َ ‫ «تَ َع‬:‫ين َي َْ ُجوانه‬ َ ،َِّّ‫ان في افل‬ َ َ ُ ْ ‫أن ُب‬
».‫ضلِ َك‬ ِ ٍ ‫ْخ‬ ِ ‫إَف َينا ُدو َن تَأ‬
come as soon as possible!” ْ ‫يَ م ْن َف‬
 ِ ِ
Peter returned with them. As soon as he arrived, they took ُ ‫ ُب‬.‫افع ِلوقية‬
‫طَ ُس‬ ُ ‫افغََفة‬
ُ ‫أخ ُذوهُ إَف‬
َ ‫ص َل‬ َ ‫َفَل قما َو‬
him to the upstairs room. Peter then knelt and prayed. . ‫صقل‬َ ‫َو َس َج ََّ َو‬
Turning to the body, Peter said, “Get up, ».‫ضي‬ َ َ ‫ « َيا‬:َِّ ‫افج َس‬
ِ ‫ ْانه‬،‫طاِبيثَا‬
َ ‫ال ُملتَ ُِتًا إَف‬
َ ‫ثُ قم َق‬
Dorcas.”
Dorcas opened her eyes! When she saw Peter, she sat up. ْ ‫أت ُب‬
‫ َجَل َس ْت‬،‫ط َُ َس‬ ْ ‫ َوَف قما َر‬.‫َفَُتَ َح ْت َع ْي َن ْي َها‬
ِ
.‫ض َها‬ َ ‫ َف َمقَّ إَف ْي َها َي ََّهُ َو‬.‫ُمعتَََّف ًة‬
َ ‫أنه‬
He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet.
