Group Presentation Task Sheet

Duration: Approximately 5 -10 minutes per group (each member must speak for at least 1 mins)

Task:

 Deliver a group presentation relevant to one of the themes below:

- Fostering learner autonomy

- Technology and education (e.g., technology-enhanced education, hyflex, ChatGPT, AI*, etc.)
- Lifelong Learning
- Vocational education (e.g., vocational education in China/in the future, etc.)
- Education and employment
- Internationalisation of higher education (e.g. studying abroad, visiting scholars, etc.)

- Student-centred vs. teacher-centred learning/teaching

- Your choice
*You need to decide on your presentation topic as a group. Some example topics have already been given in
the brackets. However, you are not limited to those topics.

 PPT design: Each group should create a PPT using PowerPoint (.PPT or .PPTX).

 Structure: Your presentation must include an Introduction, Main Body and Conclusion

Other information
 You need to reference any sources you use by adding citations and a reference list

 You may get questions at the end of your presentation

 You will have access to the computer, projector, screen, PPT clicker, and whiteboard.
 You should also pay attention to:

- use of visuals (e.g. referring to the PPT, describing pictures or graphs)

- use of voice (e.g. good intonation, sentence stress) and appropriate pacing
- signposting language and logical organisation of ideas
- developing ideas with examples and details
- eye contact and body language
