Dear Sir,

Reference to the above subject, I am delighted to mention that I have joined Government G.
N. Graduate College as librarian. I have to take some initiatives under your supervision, to make
college library the best library. I have a library proposal for you.

This is how work can be done efficiently in different phases to improve the library:

 Library stock taking and verification

 Library Automation by using Library Management System and ICTs (Information
Communication Technologies)
 By using the LIMS library management software, the library collection record can be
done computerized
 A good computer system, printer and a strong internet connection will be needed
 Furniture, Fans, AC and lights needs to repair
 A separate reading area for our female students is compulsory to facilitate them in their
studies. For this we can have separate study carrels for our females where they can read
books, course books and other academic stuff.
 By doing this we can entertain our male, female students and faculty members inside
the library

To implement the above-mentioned suggestions, I am looking forward to you if you allow me to

take the initiatives. These initiatives need small finance and I request you to approve the
budget to procure the needed things.
