DETECTIVES FOR THE AFTERNOON !!!

I challenge you to use your searching skills to retrieve the

following information and record it into your folder. Try
hard to present your information in the most organised
way possible.
(It is very important that you write underneath each
picture/ piece of text which website you have taken it from)

1. Find a picture of the Indian flag and copy it to the top of

your document. Use word art to write the title “India
Internet Scavenger Hunt”

2. Find a map of India that has: New Delhi, Calcutta and

Bangalore labelled. Use your own geographical
knowledge to write some information by the side of the
map. (You may want to say where it is located within
the world, or talk about it’s size.)

3. Copy and paste a picture of the Himalayan Mountains.

What information can you find out about this mountain

4. Find a picture of the River Ganges. How long is this

river? And research four different ways it is used by
humans.

5. What is India’s most famous landmark? Find a picture

of this and some information about who built it and why.

6. There is a desert that is situated partly in India and

partly in another country. What is this desert called and
where is it situated?
