ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT


S. Y. 2021-2022
I. INTRODUCTION
The Alternative Learning System particular in Binangonan I District aimed the success of
all programs and projects served in this district. It is an instrument to uphold learner’s aspirations
for further learning and meaningful participation in the community and society and to empower
the learners through more responsive quality ALS programs.
Alternative Learning System in Binangonan I is being located at Binangonan Elementary
School, Layunan Binangonan, Rizal. With the implementation of mobile teacher and district
ALS coordinator, Modular Distance Modality had been the avenue to reach learners with
difficulties due to pandemic.

II. STRATEGIC GOAL PRIORITIES

The Alert Level 1 in the province of Rizal lightened up the work of the implementers.
One of the priorities of the implementers was to increase the number of passers in Portfolio
Assessment and to maximize the number of graduates. The learners can easily be dropped by in
the school to show their requirements to our upcoming Initial Portfolio Assessment. Most of
them already finished 30 modules with work samples in every learning strand. We monitored
their portfolios as well as their learnings.

ACTIVITIES
The teachers ensure the readiness of every learner in terms of numeracy and literacy. On the
upcoming initial portfolio assessment, they will be asked to answer some questions from the
Education Program Specialist.
Numeracy and Literacy:
 Monitoring to look at the progress.
 Additional reading tools
 Additional activities for Mathematics, English and Science
 Develop their writing skills

III. PROGRESS REPORT

The development of the programs of Alternative Learning System is by adhering with the
policies and objectives given by the higher authorities suited for the programs. As the
implementers deal with the learners, they see to it that they are on the right track. Guiding
them with the correct use of the modules. One of the BLP learners had been reading and
writing simple words to simple sentences and can solve simple math problems. The other one
was enrolled in the elementary level. Some of the secondary learners were done answering
the Functional Literacy and successfully finished the Life Skills Modules. With this, their
Individual Learning Agreement and least learned competencies had been easily learned and
studied by the help of the modules and additional activities.

IV. RESOURCES GOVERNANCE

Resources is very important for the success of the following programs and
projects. Learning materials and supplies from our School ALS Consultant and Division
Als Focal Person are big help for the improvement of these programs and activities. As
well as for the internet load allowance from ALS focal person for us to easily
communicate with our learners.
