Course Description (Aim and Objectives): This course is designed to introduce pharmacy students to the phamaceutic principles and techologies applied in the preparation of : Solutions, Suspensions, Emulsions, and Semi-Solid dosage forms (Ointments, Creams, Pastes, Gels, and suppositories). Teaching Methods: 1. Lectures. 3. Engaging students in active learning by probing discussions during lecture. 2. Homework assignments. Attendance Policy: Lecture attendance is mandatory. The student is maximally allowed a 15% absentia of total class hours. Each student will get two formal notices of his/her absentia. The student with an excuse will be drawn from the course. Otherwise, s/he will be deprived from the course with a zero mark assigned.
