Functional architecture, schematic design and 2D drawing making for chassis
harnesses and functional units with different variant combinations as per market
needs. Design of brackets and fasteners for related equipment and other
components. All work was completed using SABERESD, KOLA, EDB and CREO
Key responsibilities
• Perform WH pre studies for projects
• Design & optimize wiring harnesses
• Final installation of WH (including clamping) through cooperation with packaging
team
• Clarify the requested features with PPL and propose restrictions if needed
• Secure that concepts fulfils requirements according to QDCF
• Design for assembly and service ability in close cooperation with GTO and After
Market
• Realize the Product Structure (KOLA)
• Is in charge of problem solving(Protus, QJ, Campaigns)
• Verification of WH Digital Mock-Ups (DMUs), physical parts/mock-ups and
installation
• Initiate new harness related parts(std parts and special components)
• Interface to supplier(s) & Supplier Involvement In Product Development (SIPD)

• Maintain and secure platform thinking, optimized harness topology and diversity
• As Wiring Harness component owner, Wiring Engineer has to: o Support
Purchasing in the request for quotation: evaluation of technical solutions from the
different suppliers.
o Responsible for building Test Requirement Analysis (TRA) with the supplier and
for its agreement.
o Provide installation requirements to the packaging and installation responsible
o Secure that the installation of the WH is done correctly (e.g. location, fixation,
mounting).
• Wiring engineer has to work in close co-operation with packaging & installation,
suppliers, systems engineering, system– and component owners, purchasing,
manufacturing and aftermarket.
o Bring wiring inputs for harnesses space claiming (bundle diameter)
o Support electronic team for functional allocation and bring wiring inputs to
choose an electronic architecture that enables harness optimization
o Design the schematics with System Engineering
o Define harness families (including GTO requests) and diversity in collaboration
with STS/ Wiring Technical Leaders
o Check 2D drawings done by wiring designer
o Release K-DCN and release the schematics
o Cooperate with Electrical Component team for protection/distribution system
dimensioning (wire size, component choice, temp class,…)

Worked as an employee for Minda Furukawa Electric Private Limited (MFE) is a
Joint Venture between Spark Minda, and worked as a consultant for Suzuki
