Body Composition Analysis

Total Weight 91.4 kg

Lean Mass 75.5 kg

Mass of muscle, bone, organs, and water in
your body, measured in pounds or kilograms.

Fat Mass 15.9 kg

Adipose tissue in your body, measured in
pounds or kilograms.

Body Fat Percentage

Healthy Body Fat Percentage is the percentage of your total body weight that is
made up of fat mass. It is strongly correlated with obesity-related and

17.4
cardiovascular health risks. Body fat percentage reference ranges are age
% and gender specific.

Reference range for 20-39 year old men

Body Mass Index (BMI)

Overweight Your total body weight divided by your height squared. BMI is used as a

general health indicator but has limitations when used for individual

28.9 kg/m²
analysis. It is best when evaluated alongside body composition metrics that

distinguish fat mass and lean mass.

Lean Mass Index (LMI)

Very Muscular Total lean mass divided by your height squared. It is a measure of

23.9
muscularity based on lean mass and height and is correlated with both

kg/m² fitness and health outcomes. A higher LMI indicates more muscularity.

Reference range for men

Fat Mass Index (FMI)

Overfat Total fat mass divided by your height squared. It is a measure of excess fat,

6.7
not including lean mass. Unlike BMI, FMI provides a gender-specific

kg/m² measure of fat that is not confounded by lean mass.

Reference range for men

Body Composition Chart

By considering both FMI and LMI indices, you can better

classify the overall condition of your body. Increased LMI
means increased muscularity while increased FMI
means increased fat.

This chart is especially useful for identifying conditions of

sarcopenic obesity (i.e. “skinny fat”) that can go
unidentified based on Body Mass Index (BMI) and BFP.

Fat Distribution Pattern

Android Fat 3.6 kg
Associated with unhealthy/visceral fat and concentrated in the abdnominal and waist
region. Android fat lends to the “apple shape and is more common among men. This
distribution pattern is often associated with higher risk for obesity-related health
complications.

Gynoid Fat 4.9 kg

Сoncentrated in the hips, upper thighs, and buttocks. Gynoid fat lends to the “pear
shape” and is more common among women. This distribution pattern is often
considered healthier because it is associated with lower risk of obesity-related health
complications.

Android / Gynoid Ratio

High The Android/Gynoid Ratio is the ratio of Android fat mass to Gynoid fat
mass. A higher Android/Gynoid Ratio, meaning more android fat, is a

0.7 pattern of body fat distribution that is associated with higher risk for
metabolic syndrome and obesity-related conditions.

Resting Metabolic Rate

Resting metabolic rate The daily minimum number of Calories your body needs when completely at
rest in order to keep your body functioning properly.

1896 Increasing muscle mass will speed up your metabolic rate. A person with a
higher RMR can burn more calories at rest than a person with a lower RMR.
