CALL FOR APPLICATIONS 1st JUNE 2023

The School of Allied Health Professions (SoAHP) informs BSc Year 1students wishing to
apply for transfer into BSc Medical Laboratory Sciences (BSc MLS) and BSc Cytotechnology
and Histotechnology Sciences (BSc CHS) that:

1. The SoAHP will be accepting applications for transfers from the 16TH JUNE UNTIL
THE 30TH JUNE 2023.

2. Interested candidates MUST have passed the following courses at first attempt:
BIO111 & BIO112, CHE101 & CHE102, MAT111 & MAT122, and PHY112 &
PHY122. Please attach Semester 1 and Semester 2 results slips (available online).

3. Prospective candidates MUST apply by writing a letter addressed to The Head of

School of Allied Health Professions, Faculty of Health Sciences.

4. There is no need to travel to deliver applications, rather email it to The Head of School
of School of Allied Health Professions: HOD Email: mokomanem@ub.ac.bw and
provide at least 2 cell phone numbers in the application.

5. Upon admission, the prospective candidate MUST submit OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS

OF YEAR 1 RESULTS (BOTH SEMESTER 1 AND 2) from ACADEMIC services
before they could be given their admission letter.

Successful candidates will be informed by email and SMS once the whole process has been
concluded. A list of successful candidates will be posted on the notice boards in Block 246,
and admission letters can be collected from 2nd floor, Office A214 Health Sciences Wing.
