The objective of this case study was to recognize the hand gestures

made in the TEDx videos and the interaction they have with the
audience.
To carry out this study, CNN learning was used, which helps us
recognize gestures from a video.
Data collection was carried out, from 25 videos of live talks and
YouTube videos.
By means of image captures of up to 95 and 99% of precision to
identify the gesture made. Using Open Cy and Resnet-110
After identifying the gestures, it was classified and determined how
many times it was used in each video.
2 experimental studies were conducted:
1.- Effect of appropriate gestures to guarantee the commitment of the
audience
2.- Appropriate gestures to impact the viewer's feeling.
In this study, 17 different gestures were found in 130,000 sample
images that were collected.
The results were that up to 60 hand gestures could be recognized in a
5-minute video, these were the most successful talks.
And 25 gestures in 1-minute videos.
A relationship was found between gestures and successful talks, since
talks with more gestures had greater reproductions and greater
interaction with the audience.
Among the most used gestures in this analysis are:
 Hands together
 Folded hands
 Hand in Puno, simulating success
 The high signal
 Turn your hands
 Separate hands
 Move your hands together to the right or left
 Thumbs up or down
During this study it was concluded that an energetic speaker has a
greater impact on the viewers and makes the talk more exciting, which
means that the best way to expose a topic is using hand gestures as a
tool, since the content of TEDx talks attracts the attention of the
audience but the way of transmitting the message through gestures
makes the videos more successful.
