ORDER

This cause was set for a trial today wherein the Defendant, Max Ryan
Dotson, was present, represented by attorney, Jeffrey Austin.

The State of Alabama was represented by specially appointed, William


Sauls, and Jeffrey Roberts of Limestone County District Attorney's
office.

Upon a trial in this cause, the Court finds the Defendant not guilty of
Harassment.

As to the charge of Menacing, the Defendant, Max Ryan Dotson, is


found guilty. The Defendant is fined $1,000 plus court costs and is
sentenced to serve six (6) months in the Lauderdale County detention
center. Said sentence is to run concurrent with the Assault III sentence.

As to the charge of Assault III, the Defendant, Max Ryan Dotson, is


found guilty. The Defendant is fined $2,000 plus court costs and is
sentenced to serve twelve (12) months in the Lauderdale County
detention center.

As to the charge of Reckless Endangerment, the Defendant, Max Ryan


Dotson, is found guilty. The Defendant is fined $2,000 plus court costs
and is sentenced to serve twelve (12) months in the Lauderdale County.
Said sentence to run consecutive to the Assault III sentence.

The Defendant, Max Ryan Dotson, gave oral notice of appeal and was
advised that said appeal must be perfected within 14 days.

The Defendant, Max Ryan Dotson, must post a $3,000 appeal bond.

Added conditions of Appeal Bond:

The Defendant, Max Ryan Dotson, to have no contact with the victim,
Demarcus Key.

The Defendant, Max Ryan Dotson, to have no firearms within his


possession pending appeal.

The issue of restitution is reserved for a period of 30 days, however, in


the event appeal is perfected, said issue is reserved for the Circuit Court.
