• In my opinion, the most important medical discovery in history is the insulin.

First, because some of my family members have diabetes, and they have
been able to live a normal life, of course, they have had health problems, but
the disease has been treated. When the insulin hadn’t been invented people
used to live less. According to (Worldwide cancer research, 2021): “children
with type 1 diabetes were expected to live only around 1.5 years after their
diagnosis. In adults, only 1 in 5 would be alive 10 years after their diagnosis
and those that did live longer suffered from debilitating symptoms caused by
diabetes”.

A. FIND SUPPOTING DETAILS.

1. That they don’t allow bacteria to live in our body. Antibiotics kill them or they
don’t let bacteria keep multiplying.
2. Because antibiotics are not taken to fight diseases by virus, they are to threat
bacteria.
3. Antibiotics are effective against strep throat because is a disease caused by
bacteria.
4. The overuse of antibiotics can make a bacteria become resistant to it, in the
worse scenario they can become useless or ineffective.
