The document outlines the steps for performing earthwork at a construction site, including:
1) Proposing a platform level by obtaining site plans and surveys, and considering neighboring lots, drainage, and road levels.
2) Calculating cut and fill quantities, excluding top soil and basing quantities on the earthwork level.
3) Designing a silt trap and earth drain based on guidelines, with the silt trap in a low location near existing drains.
4) Designing a wash through near the entrance according to local authority requirements.

a) To obtain site plan (from Architect) and survey drawing (from surveyor) b) Proposed Platfrom Level with below considerations : i) To suit neighbouring lot and existing road level ii) To check exisitng drain invert level & sewerage invert level iii) Internal Road Level min 150mm lower than Building Level normally iv) External Road Level min 150mm lower than Internal Road Level v) Proposed Level to be confirmed by Ir Soo or/and Client before proceed further 2 To calculate overall cut and fill quantities. i) Cut and Fill Quantities shall be excluded 150mm Think Top Soil Removal normally (Subject to site condition) ii) Cut and Fill Quantities shall be based on Earthwork Level. iii) Revised proposed platform to optimum earthwork quantities if needed 3 To design silt trap and earth drain based on MASMA 2 i) Silt trap shall be located at lower location and near to existing drain ii) Silt Trap depth normally is 1.2m depth (minimum) from platform road level iii) Earth drain starting depth shall be 0.6m depth based on guideline. 4 To design wash through i) check with local authorities requirement whether Concrete Type or I Beam Type ii) Wash through shall be located near entrance. iii) Crusher run shall be provided in between wash through and existing premix road in order to keep cleanliness 5 To proposed entrance slab i) Either temporary or permanent entrance slab subject to site condition and client's decision 6 To proposed interlocking pavement i) Please refer to local authorities' requirements. ii) Some authorities prefer road resurfacing if damaged and/or before CCC inspection iii) For JKR road, Interlocking pavement is not allowed. 7 To proposed Project Signboard, Temporaray Hoarding and Gate i) Please refer to local authorities' requirements. 8 To proposed temporary road signage i) Please refer to local authorities' requirements. 9 To proposed slope if required i) Fill slope shall be 1:2 with maximum 3m height while Cut Slope shall be 1:1.5 or 1:1 with maximum 4m height ii) Slope must be located within boundary. If outside boundary, it shall be obtained consent letter for neighbouring lot owner iii) Please refer to local authorities' requirements. 10 To proposed Retaining Wall or equivalent retaining element if required i) Type of retaining element must be complied with local authorities requirement. Remark : Submission Drawings must be followed local authorities checklist
