English Fair - Parents Guiding Experience

The fair experience was about welcoming parents and guiding them to the presentations
according to their children's grade levels. There were only two locations for the fair,
therefore, it was very easy for us to guide them, we just had to ask them what grade their
children were in and direct them to the location.

I worked with a classmate, and we waited for the parents at the checkpoint. However, when
we arrived at our place, most of the parents had already arrived at the fair. Many parents did
not even need our help as they knew exactly where their children were. After a while, my
partner and I realized that the parents asked the guard at the checkpoint, which made our job
more difficult since we were not needed by the parents. We were very cordial all the time
with the parents, however some parents were rude to us, a couple ignored us and others did
not say hello back.

After our work as guides, we went to the fair. I participated in the Ireland quiz booth, and also
in the India trivia. They were very animated and informative presentations.
