MATERIALS AND TOOLS

1. Sport 5 PLY yarn
The main Yarn Art Jeans №05 – beige (approx. 50 g.)
Overalls (on the photo) Alize Cotton Gold №02 – mustard, №62 – milk color, №382 – powder.
An additional yarn (for pompons) Yarn Art Jeans №35 – yellow, № 65 – dirty pink.
2. A piece of a linen fabric 20х20 cm. I have a thin linen fabric, the thickness is 130 g/square
meter. The color is light grey melange. You can take any other thin fabric - cotton, coarse calico,
printed cotton. It is desirable to take a fabric of a color suitable for your yarn, monotonous or with a
print.
3. The hook 2 mm.
4. Two black half beads or a couple of safety eyes 6 mm in diameter. For the nose - 8 mm. For the
nose I used the beads with a shifted hole, which are similar to the round buttons.
5. Stuffing (hollofayber).
6. A tapestry needle with a big eye to sew the details.
7. A thin needle with a small eye to sew the ears, tail and sewing the beads.
8. A little bit of pink thread to make the cheeks.
9.One button size 10 mm.

All detail are crocheted in a spiral, except the overall.

HOW TO FASTEN THE YARN:

Cut the yarn, leaving a tail approx. 8-10 cm long. Pass the yarn through the needle and
insert the needle in the 2nd loop from that, where you’ve finished crocheting. Then return to
the loop, where you’ve finished crocheting, and insert the needle top-down under its back
loop. Tighten the thread, hide the left end in the inside.
THE PROCESS OF CROCHETING
ARMS (2 pcs.):
With the beige color. Stuff in the course of crocheting.
Do not stuff very tight, the stitches should not be stretched.

Cut the yarn, leaving the end 10 cm long. Tighten the opening.

For the pattern draw a circle 6 cm in diameter on a thick paper with the compasses.
Cut it out.
Fold a piece of fabric in half by the right side inside. Pay attention to the direction of the
lengthwise thread while drawing out the pattern on a piece of fabric – it should go vertically.
You can easily check it – pull a fabric – the lengthwise thread pulls worse than the cross one.

Text explanation:
Cut out a rectangle 20х3 cm, the long side is along the lengthwise line.
Bend a rectangle in half lengthwise by the right side inside.
Put a pin with a thread attached to it inside the tail. (fold a thread in two, make a strong knot,
pass a loop through the ring of a pin, pass a knot in a loop and pull. A knot should be near
the ring)
Connect with the pins.

Sew one lateral cut (the side, where a loop is) and the long side by the fore stitch.
Important, between the threads of a loop should be several stitches.
Further drag a pin outside, tighten a loop and pull it together with the end of the tail. Pinch
off a fabric with your fingers to help the end to drown quicker.
After the tail is turned out it is necessary to adjust it, for example with the help of a tube or a
sushi stick.
Little by little stuff the tail evenly, but not till the very end.
BODY:
Before starting crocheting the body, you should have the

ASSEMBLY AND DECORATION:

Sew the eyes in the 18 row between the increasing stitches.
Sew the nose with a caproic or black thread.

Embroider the cheeks with a pink yarn.
Fix the head with the pins and sew it to the body. While sewing (to better fasten the head)
use a knitting-needle – insert it throughout the head and body. Before closing the opening do
not forget to add some more stuffing in the neck.

Attach the arms. Mark the places for the arms on the body – count out 7 rows down from the
neck, mark with the pins. The space between the pins is 16 stitches.
On the arms – count out three rows down and insert a pin grasping three stitches. I insert a
pin at the side, where the increases are.

Insert a needle in the back and take it out to a pin, where you will fasten the first arm.
(Leave an end 10 cm long at the back) Attach the arm.
Pierce the body throughout and take out a needle to the second pin.
Attach the second arm.

Take out a thread in the very same place, where you made the first pinhole on the back. Pull
the ends of the threads and draw the arms to the body well. They should be able to keep the
adjusted position.
Make three knots. Cut the treads not very short and hide the ends inside the body.

OVERALL:

Crochet the overall and all its parts in a circle, crocheting ch 1 or ch 3 in the beginning of
each row (1 ch for the sc, 3 ch for the dc) Finish each row with a sl st into the first st of the
row and put your first double crochet in the same st. Don’t count 3 ch as your first dc.

Sew a button.
Crochet a lace of 80 ch, leaving in the beginning and in the end of the chain the pieces of
thread 10 cm long to sew the pompons later.
Pass a lace through the very top row in each 2 stitches. Take out the ends of a lace at the
front. Make the pompons and sew them to a lace.
