PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods in response to the engineering/ process
owners requests for special machinary PM ( coating, heat treatment ....etc)
2. Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work as planned by process owners and responding to
equipment faults
3. Carrying out all necessary internal maintenance programs as per engineering and process owner’s
requests.
4. Finding and addressing fault issues.
5. Liaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and production departments
6. Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment
7. Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs
8. Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
9. Building maintenance, AC, utilities (power, water, compressed air ….)
10. Manage maintenance contracts, contractors and suppliers.
11. Maintaining of equipment history maintenance records
12. To install, trouble shoot, repair of Electrical & electronic Spares in the machinery.
13. Supporting production as and when required (shift working as required).
14. Provide on-the-job training to new employees
15. Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested

1. Accountable for doing your job right, first time every time and on time
2. Accountable for reporting incidents, hazards, unsafe acts or conditions witnessed or experienced
3. Accountable for proper and complete usage of PPE
4. Accountable for complying with all QSHE System requirements; Policies, Procedures, forms/checklists
etc.
5. Accountable for complying with all trainings/orientations/tool box sessions/announcements etc.
6. Accountable for personal wellbeing, safety of yourself and other employees
COMPETENCIES:
Education Bachelor Degree Graduate in Electrical/ Electronic/Instrumentation
Additional Training/ -A good working knowledge and understanding of workshop processes and
Knowledge technology.
-Demonstrates ability to support teams internally and externally, to ensure
effectiveness in line with the needs of the business.
-Demonstrates the ability to plan and priorities workload in order to meet required
deadlines and performance standards.
-Demonstrates the ability of being able to maintain and improve effective working
practices, use of facilities and materials etc.
-Demonstrates a flexible attitude towards work and is able to respond to business
priorities appropriately.
-Effective communication skills that allows the individual to communicate internally
and externally, at all levels.
-Able to pass on knowledge to other team members and apprentices
-Demonstrates the ability to maintain and improve levels of housekeeping and
health and safety standards.
-Previous experience of working towards improving and maintaining quality
standards.
-Able to problem solve in highly production based environment.
-Able to play a key role in the continuing improvement of the factory equipment
and maintenance.
-Familiar with planned and and preventive maintenance.
-Ability to read & understand of Electrical & mechanical circuit diagrams &
Equipment manuals
-Basic Knowledge of Computer skills
-Good knowledge and understand of a variety of machines, process equipment with
respect to maintenance and repair.
-Maintenance Experience in Cranes, Welding Machinery, Lathe, Stationary
manufacturing Machinery, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Tools
-Capability to Run/Stop or Operate of equipment’s (Compressors, Pumps, cranes &
other industrial machinery)
-Ability to read repair drawings etc.
-Ability to use all kind of measuring instruments
Experience Previous experience of working in similar environment (production workshops) with
similar role responsibilities at least for 5 to 7 years
Personal Skills -Meeting job requirements and established hours
-The ability to work in a team environment
-Able to work on own initiative
