a. Introduction Martin helps his sister in cleaning the house. He started cleaning the living room. While
sweeping the floor, he noticed the different shapes inside the room. He wondered which plane
figures and which solid figures are.

Based on the pictures, what objects found Martin’s living room? Can you name each shape?

How will you differentiate plane figures from solid figures?
Today, we will learn about the difference of plane figure and solid figure.

Plane Figures is a geometric figure that is flat whose points lie on the same surface. It has
no thickness, only length and width that it is why it is called two-dimensional shape.
