Assembly (view photos)-

Lay your back panel down, right side up. Lay your front panels on top of the
back panel, right side down. Be sure the panels are aligned evenly at the
shoulders. Using your joining method of choice, sew the first shoulder together.
Repeat on opposite side with second front panel. I prefer to use my hook and
slip stitch the panels together. You can also use a yarn needle and whip or
mattress stitch across. You will have a gap of 5(5, 5, 5, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7) stitches on
the back panel left unworked, creating the neckline.

Next, take your back/front panels and lay them wrong side up. Align your first
sleeve (wrong side up) against the body of the sweater so that the seam of the
shoulder is in the exact middle of the sleeve. Pin your sleeve into place so that
it doesn’t move while you are joining your pieces. Sew the last row of your
sleeve to the main sweater. Repeat on other side.

Finally, fold your sweater and sleeves in half, wrong side out. Join yarn with a Sl
St at the cuff, sew from cuff to underarm. Continue down the side of the
sweater and sew from underarm to bottom hem. Tie off and repeat on opposite
side.
Trim:
With your sweater right side out, join yarn with a Sl St to the corner of the left
front panel (right panel when worn). Stitch count is not crucial here, just be sure
to try and place your stitches as evenly as possible.
Row 1: Ch 1, Sc evenly up the side of the first panel, across the back neckline,
and down the second panel until you reach the corner, turn.
Row 2: Ch 1, 1 Sc (FLO) in each stitch across.
Tie off.
