As for this report, I’ve tried to analyze the advertisements of water shown during the

program according to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. Those needs are physiological needs,


safety needs, love and belonging needs, esteem needs, and self-actualization needs. Spot
commercials that are targeting people aged 18-35. Each commercial runs approximately thirty
seconds and is rerun every ten minutes during the thirty-minute program.

1. Physiological needs
Includes biological needs for human survival. "Air, water, shelter, clothes, love, sleep"

In this video, the woman who was eating is holding her bottle of water and looking at others,
the couple who are using the phone are hugging and laughing and delighted, and the husband
and wife are walking with their child on the road, holding the baby on their shoulders and
smiling, the need for love is expressed.
2. Safety needs.

The idea that appears in this video is that when her child comes to a woman who is exercising

in life.
To be safe is to be secure, to be stable
3. Love and belonging needs
It is the feeling of being accepted in one's environment or society and belonging to one's

4. Esteem needs
Earning the respect of others is considered the most important need and is believed to lead to
self-confidence and prestige.
