CONFIRMED DETAILS

The Third WorldMAC Games are to be staged at Sports City, Manchester, United Kingdom.
The nearest airport is Manchester International and single en-suite rooms have been
arranged on a bed and breakfast basis at a local university campus. There are no twin,
shared, or double rooms on the campus, so an official hotel will be given shortly where
double or twin rooms will be available. All groups must arrive at the campus on Friday 01
September 2017, where registration and weigh-in will take place, and leave on Tuesday 05
September 2017, which is a total of four nights at £45 per night for bed and breakfast. This
means accommodation is £180 per person on the campus where there are separate rooms
for males and females, dining and community areas, and all food is Halal. Entry fees are
£30 per category, and all entry fees and accommodation must be paid online in advance.
Details regarding payments will be sent when we have your details listed below. The
Opening Ceremony will take place on Saturday morning at Sports City, the championships
will begin immediately after, and it is hoped the event will be televised. All categories will
offer World Champion Titles. The martial arts included to date are Kickboxing, Muay Thai,
Kung-Fu, Karate, Filipino Martial Arts, Kempo, Taekwondo, Judo (to be confirmed), Light
Continuous, Low Kick, K1, Super Subaki, Kyokushinkai, and All Forms including Weapons
and Musical. If you wish to include another discipline you must manage it completely, have
sufficient officials and all rules. All competitors must have the correct safety equipment, and
be aware personal insurance cover is the responsibility of each individual competitor, not the
organizers. If you are responsible for judging and refereeing please ensure you have time
clocks or stop watches, whistles and corner referee flags if required.

Travel documents and visas are the responsibility of each individual, and an official invitation
will be sent after we receive the above details. At this point we will require the names of
every person in your group and passport numbers of all overseas visitors. We are working
with the British authorities to ensure visa applications can be processed without problems.
The fact that all group members will be accommodated on a university campus in the same
place will make applications easier. The address of the accommodation will be given with
the official invitation. The event will also include cultural displays, and an Awards Ceremony
