INDUSTRIAL VISIT

A. INTRODUCTION:

The field visit organized by the V.S Niketan college

in 29th January 2023. During the visit, we started
by visiting Kisan Dana Udhyog and the plastic
bottles factory (Aqua Factory). Where minerals,
mostly goes from palm sized cylindrical piece to a
full fetch plastic water bottle which we see in our
day to day life.
Next, we also had a chance to visit a feed
manufacturing industry where at the time of the
visit there wasn’t any noise of the people or of the
machines working, so going there it was nothing
but a quick visit to a room filled with rusted
equipments and by products of grains which were
not really taken care of that professionally.

B. OBJECTIVE OF THE VISIT:

As industrial visit is considered as one of the

tactical methods of teaching. Its main objective is
to let students know things practically through
interaction, working methods and employment
 practices. So the students to class 12 Business
batch was taken to the Dana Udhyog and the Aqua
Factory for different objective which are listed
below:-

 To give exposure from academic point of view.

 To give an exposure to the student about the practical
working environment.
 To provide students a good opportunity to gain full
awareness about industrial practices.
 To give awareness about the new technologies.
 To understand the manufacturing process involved in
producing high-quality feed products for different poultry
species.
 To learn about the various stages of the manufacturing
process, from sourcing raw materials to packaging and
shipping the finished products..

C. DESCRIPTION OF THE VISIT

During the Industrial visit we students had various

range of activities that we got engaged into such
as:-
i. Touring the facilities:-We student had a privilege to visit the
Aqua Factory where we could see the steps of manufacturing
the bottles of the Aqua Water industry. The manufacturing
process for small scale mineral plastic water bottles typically
involves the following steps:-
a) Material preparation: The PET plastic resin is melted and
extruded into thin tubes.
b) Bottle molding: The tubes are then cut into small pieces and
placed into molds, where they are heated and inflated into
the shape of a bottle.
c) Bottle finishing: The bottles are then cooled and trimmed to
remove any excess plastic. Filling and labeling: The bottles
are filled with mineral water and labeled with branding and
nutritional information.

ii. Learning about the Insutry:- Small scale mineral plastic

water bottle manufacturers typically operate on a smaller
scale, often producing products for local markets or
specialized niches. These manufacturers may not have the
same level of automation or quality control measures as
larger manufacturers, but they can often offer more
personalized service and customization options.

It is important to note that while PET plastic is a widely used

material for water bottles, it can have negative environmental
impacts if not disposed of properly. PET plastic can take
hundreds of years to decompose, and if it ends up in the
ocean, it can harm marine life and contribute to ocean
pollution.

The small scale “Aqua Ann‘s has to say, “Our company has been
providing service since 2068 to the consumer . Our company is
one such company that provides pure mineral drinking water to
customer.”

D. ANALYSIS

At last all I want to tell is that the experience itself wasn’t bad. It
could’ve been more fun and educational if we had visited the
industry in a separate day, separate from a normal college, giving
it a day of itself that would’ve given us a head start of plenty of
time and maybe we could’ve gotten chance of visiting one or two
more industries, but again that’s a big if and if that could’ve
happened that would’ve been so cool. The problems lies in bundle
but at the same time looking at the bright side we did learn
something new and for few who are new to this valley got to
experience and see this whole new side of it so it was kinda
adventure too.

E. CONCLUSION

Through this industrial visit we students got to

learn so many things about a firm like
understanding about the production process,
manufacturing process, knowledge of the industrial
practices, etc. We also got a lot of knowledge about
the technologies used in the industry, we got to
learn about the industries distribution process.
The whole visit was very fun and educational. It
provided us the opportunity to learn more about
the outside world outside than just reading books.
It provided us an opportunity to know about the
god that we use in our day to day life and an
opportunity to learn about the Water Bottle
industry. It provided us the knowledge about the
merits and demerits to the industry which will be a
great assets for us. And it will be a memorable
moment of my life.
