RULES FOR CRICKET MANDI 8.

• You have to build a cricket team from scratch. The initial money provided is ₹ 100 crores.
• Each team must consist of at least 15 players.
• The teams should necessarily meet the following conditions:
▪ At least 4 players from Round 1. (Batsman)
▪ At least 4 players from Round 2. (Bowler)
▪ 1 player from round 3. (Wicket Keeper)
▪ At least two players from round 4. (All Rounder)
▪ 3 Bonus points for buying a player from Round 5. ( Legendary Players)
• A team can contain a maximum of 6 foreign players. More than 6 will result in instant
elimination. There is no limitation on the minimum number of foreign players.
• Any team which loses all its allocated money before the completion of the team is immediately
disqualified.
• The base prices would be provided to the participants before the start of the auction.
• Increments in the bid should be in multiples of 0.5 crores (50 Lakhs)
• Any extra money left after the complete auction would be converted to points in a dynamic
fashion based on total money spent during the auction and the player ratings
• Unsold players will not be auctioned again
• The team having maximum points would win the auction
• If a tie persists, a question will be asked related to the cricket players to decide the winners
• Extra points would be given as follows for having the following squad combinations:
▪ 4 Batsmen, 2 Wicket keeper, 4 All Rounders, 5 Bowlers: 3 points
▪ 5 Batsmen, 2 Wicket keeper, 4 All Rounders, 4 Bowlers: 3 points
▪ 5 Batsmen, 1 Wicket keeper, 5 All Rounder, 4 Bowlers: 2 points
▪ 5 Batsmen, 1 Wicket keeper, 4 All Rounder, 5 Bowlers: 2 points
▪ 4 Batsmen, 1 Wicket keeper, 5 All Rounder, 5 Bowlers: 2 points
▪ The Team name will be allocated randomly to all the finalists

NOTE: The players are rated based on their overall T20 stats as given on ESPN CricInfo. In order to
evaluate the ranking of the players and their individual scores, their performance in overall T20s have
been considered.
Rules of Bidding Process

• Player will be displayed along with base price


• Teams will put their interest in chat box
• Bidding will be asked in order, as per chat box
• Teams will be called for final bid after bidding
• Thread will be closed
• Decision taken by the organizers will be final

Auction Rounds Description


Round 1) Batsmen will be auctioned in three sets in the first round
Round 2) Bowlers will be auctioned in three sets in the second round
Round 3) Wicket Keeper will be auctioned in three sets in the third round
Round 4) All Rounders will be auctioned in three sets in the fourth round
Round 5) Legendary players will be auctioned in the final round
