Instructions

The following subjects are compulsory

● English Language
● English Literature
● International Mathematics
● Co-ordinated Sciences

The following subjects are optional

 French or Dutch
 Business Studies
 Global Perspectives
 History
 ICT
 Additional Mathematics

The total number of subjects must be a minimum of 8 and cannot exceed 9. This means that
students can choose 3 or 4 subjects on top of the 5 compulsory subjects.

Please note that you will need to choose

● at least one foreign language
● at least two humanities subjects

Please take note of the following

● The Co-ordinated sciences counts as two subjects.

● Although Dutch is not an official IGCSE course, we offer a full two-year course, whereby
students gain a language certificate within the European Framework of Languages.

● It is not compulsory to do Additional Maths in order to take Maths at a higher level in the IB
Diploma Programme.

● Not all students are eligible to take Additional Maths and admission to this course will
depend on teacher recommendations.
